Apronhill House is an original crofter’s cottage situated in a quiet and secluded hillside setting above the village of Gairloch.
From the loch shore, the cottage is reached via the hill road and track at the end of which is a parking area for several cars, about 120 yards from the cottage.
The traditional cottage was built in the 18th century and has small rooms able to accommodate up to 4 people.
There are two upstairs bedrooms.
. . . . has an old walnut antique double bed with a very good modern mattress. There is also hanging space and a chest of drawers for clothes.
. . . . has two new, very comfortable single beds and hanging space for clothes.
From the bedroom window there is a view looking down a beautiful valley, usually with wild flowers blooming in the Springtime and Summer.
The small bathroom is located downstairs and has a shower, toilet and washbasin. Hot water is provided by electricity, which is included in the property rental price.
The cosy lounge is furnished with four good chairs and a small coffee table.
There is also a television, radio, DVD player and a selection of books.
Next to the lounge is the kitchen/dining room with seating for 4 people.

- ample crockery, cutlery, pots and pans
The recently added large porch houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The cottage stands in over an acre of well fenced croft ground on the side of the hill. There are wonderful views of the Isle of Skye and the Torridon mountains.
There are three lawn areas and seating on a long wooden bench so that you can sit, relax and enjoy this wonderful location.
